The story behind the issue
Crown CC paper appears in the fourth supply. This record groups the ordinary perforation-14 Crown CC material, including later colour printings, rather than creating records for nearly indistinguishable invoice runs.

Sources & verification
VerifiedBonnici dates the first Crown CC supply to June 1863; the invoice is 17 April 1863. Colour and ink differences within this broad structural group are not separately counted. Specialist varieties and watermark orientations remain outside this grouping. The historic account distinguishes the initial thin white wove Crown CC printing from later thick white wove Crown CC paper. This grouped perforation-14 record does not certify one thickness for every represented printing. The 18½ × 22½ mm dimension is the reported historical reference for this halfpenny design, not a certified measurement of the illustrated specimen or a new physical-type distinction. Current date, perforation and watermark identification are retained.
