Postage dues · Maltese Cross watermark, line perforation
Four denominations on ordinary Maltese-cross watermarked paper with line12 perforation, distinct from the existing ten-value comb-perforated1968 group.
4 rekords ta’ bolli · ½d / 1d / 2d / 4d
Basic postage-due denomination/design types and documented major paper, watermark or perforation changes. Shade-only printings, plate flaws, errors, tête-bêche arrangements, multiples and unchanged reprints are excluded. Independent specialist verification remains open.
Noti tar-riċerka: The contemporary source explicitly distinguishes these four line-perforated values from the 1968 comb12½ stamps. Both are retained as separate major types. Photogravure is the contemporary author’s reported process and awaits independent physical confirmation.
