Operation Husky: seventy-fifth anniversary
Three wartime photographs recall preparations for the Allied invasion of Sicily.
3 stamp records · €1.00 / €1.00 / €1.00
Ordinary basic design/value types and source-supported major technical changes. Excludes postage dues, unchanged reprints, packaging repeats, private personalised labels, postal stationery, replicas, errors and minor varieties.
Research notes: The inspected complete set establishes three distinct designs, each €1.00; the nine-stamp sheet repeats them. Captions do not guess the identity of every person in each photograph.
