Basic postage-due denomination/design types and documented major paper, watermark or perforation changes. Shade-only printings, plate flaws, errors, tête-bêche arrangements, multiples and unchanged reprints are excluded. Independent specialist verification remains open.

Research notes: The specimen study attributes 1 October 1966 and sideways watermark type 5. The contemporary Said article explicitly identifies the predecessor 2d as Block CA, but describes collectors being presented with it in November without independently establishing its original first-sale day. The date remains an attributed specialist date, not a contemporaneously verified release notice. Printer attribution is supported by the contemporary Said account (printed p16), which identifies Bradbury Wilkinson as printers of these permanent dues since1925. This is a historical attribution; original production invoices and physical printing-process confirmation remain open.
