Postage dues · Maltese Cross on unsurfaced paper

The ten-denomination permanent Maltese Cross design on unsurfaced paper, separated from the later rough and chalk-surfaced reissues.

10 stamp records · ½d / 1d / 1½d / 2d / 2½d / 3d / 4d / 6d / 1/- / 1/6

Basic postage-due denomination/design types and documented major paper, watermark or perforation changes. Shade-only printings, plate flaws, errors, tête-bêche arrangements, multiples and unchanged reprints are excluded. Independent specialist verification remains open.

Research notes: The study attributes 21 July 1925 and classifies a sideways watermark as its type 4. The watermark pattern name has not been independently resolved here, so no guessed name is published in the technical field. The contemporary Said account identifies Bradbury Wilkinson as the printer of the permanent dues since 1925; its later photogravure statement is not applied backwards to this issue.
